Husband And Wife Take The Ice But It’s Their Flawless Routine That Turns Heads

Although there are many sports to follow and enjoy, many people appreciate figure skating. It is not only a sport, it is actually an art form and when somebody is really good on the ice, they can easily take you along on a very emotional basis. That is especially true when we see couples out on the ice, skating as if they are in love with each other and moving with the music in a way that almost seems as if they are floating on the ice.

When we watch a couple figure skating, we probably wonder if they actually have feelings for each other in a romantic way. In many cases, they aren’t romantically attached but they are very close with each other. They practice for many hours every day and they may have been practicing together for years, perhaps even since early childhood. That isn’t the case with this couple. They are more than just a team that goes out on the ice together, they are a married couple who have the actual feelings for each other that they are trying to display when skating.

It is not only the beautiful movements of the skaters as they glide across the ice, it is also the music that is playing in the background as well. In this case, it was Celine Dion and her famous, My Heart Will Go On. This is a song that is recognizable to anyone, especially to those who have seen the movie, Titanic.

The scene that was playing on Titanic was when Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio were sharing a romantic moment on the bow of the ocean liner. That moment has been re-created by many people who were on a romantic cruise with each other. This couple is not on a cruise but rather, they are on a large slab of ice. What they do is nothing short of incredible.

Their names are Chris Knierim and Alexa Scimeca-Knierim. They don’t need the wind from the front of an ocean liner to make the romantic movements, they only need each other and the ice. This couple was in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. They won the routine and the audience absolutely loved them.

This routine is sure to be one you treasure, regardless of whether you are a Celine Dion fan or if you just love figure skating. When the song began, the entire crowd got silent but they had no idea what they were going to see unfolding in front of them.

When Alexa and Chris are snuggled up on the ice together, it almost seems like a love story in the making. As they begin to glide across the floor, however, the emotion truly builds. It seems as if Alexa is as light as a feather as Chris lifts her into the air, spins and then drops his wife down into his arms. This is talent to the ultimate degree.
